the performance combines contemporary dance, pole dance, electronic music and poetic performance.

[about — Obert.eve]

Obert.eve is an experimental choreographic event dedicated to the development of pole dance culture in Ukraine.

The project brings together contemporary Ukrainian artists and pole performers, and vice versa, creating a space for collaboration and exchange between different artistic practices. It also aims to raise funds to support the needs of Ukrainian military personnel, build a safe space for free self-expression, and support and unite the dance community and beyond.

We want to highlight the aesthetics and artistic potential of pole dance, challenge existing stereotypes, and bring the practice into popular culture — as Western artists such as FKA twigs, SZA, and Lana Del Rey have long been doing.
